Every distributor we bought from made us take twelve pieces of a colour nobody wanted. We built HDNY so shop owners could order the exact mix that actually sells at their counter.

Our story
Started behind a repair bench, not a spreadsheet.
HDNY began the way most of our customers' businesses did — a small repair counter in East New York, fixing screens and selling a rack of cases on the side. The repairs paid the rent. The accessories were supposed to be the easy money.
They weren't. Every supplier wanted twelve pieces per colour, minimum. Order a popular clear case for the iPhone and you also took home eleven pink ones that sat in a box for two years. The margin looked good on paper and terrible on the shelf.
So in 2016 we started importing directly and selling to the shops around us on one rule: order one piece if one piece is what you need. That rule has not changed. Everything else we built — the design codes, the same-day cutoff, the no-questions defect credit — exists to make that rule practical at volume.
Today we ship from a warehouse on Liberty Ave to several hundred accounts across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, plus online sellers nationwide.

How we got here
Nine years, one rule.

Cut the middle layer out entirely. Prices dropped, and the one-piece minimum finally became sustainable at volume.

Moved into the current space with a will-call counter, so local shops could pick up the same morning they ordered.
